NEWLAND CHURCH EXISTS TO COMMUNICATE THE LIFE-CHANGING MESSAGE OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST BY EQUIPPING THE SAINTS FOR THE WORK OF MINISTRY THROUGH THE PREACHING OF GOD'S WORD AND THE EMPOWERING OF THE HOLY SPIRIT.

CORE PRINCIPLES

These principles form the foundational conviction behind all we do as a church. They are values that we will never compromise on and values we seek to instill in our people.

A HIGH VIEW OF

GOD

A HIGH VIEW OF

SCRIPTURE

EMPHASIS ON THE

GOSPEL

The God of Scripture is greatly to be praised, majestic in holiness, sovereign, creator and sustainer of all and is worthy of our worship, our love, and our very lives.

As God’s inspired Word, the Bible is our final guide and authority, that contains all that is needed for life and godliness.

The good news of Christ’s atoning sacrifice alone is the power of God for salvation. We seek to preach, portray, and protect the gospel in all we do.

DISTINCTIVES

Our values guide why we do what we do. These five statements provide an anchor to keep us on mission and focused on God.

EXPOSITORY PREACHING

We preach the whole Bible, verse-by-verse one book at a time because real life in Jesus is found and perfected in the Scriptures.

SINCERE WORSHIP

We seek a lifestyle of worship, that flows from the heart and not mere religious formalism. We seek to worship in spirit and in truth and believe that all true worship extends beyond Sunday morning.

EQUIPPING THE SAINTS

We train God’s people for the work of ministry, because every believer is called to be a minister of the Gospel. This takes place in our week gatherings, moments of discipleship, and connect homes.

A HEART FOR THE LOST

We desire that all people would come to know Christ. As a result, we seek to be faithful witnesses to Christ by both sharing the gospel and living it out in our daily lives.

MEANINGFUL RELATIONSHIP

We do life alongside one another because faith is strengthened in community with God’s people, the Church.

WHAT WE BELIEVE

  • Will my kids be safe?
Our team of dedicated volunteers are members of Newland Church, have been background checked, agree to our statement of faith, and are trained annually on policies and procedures. You can rest assured that your kids are in a safe, loving, and Christ-centered environment.
  • How to check in your kids
Our check in station is located immediately to your left after walking in the main doors. You may check in your kids up to 15 minutes before service begins at 10:30 am. First time? If you'd like, you can register your family below, and then check in as normal on Sunday.
  • Kids curriculum
We currently use the "Generations of Grace" curriculum on Sundays to teach our children the entirety of the Bible from Genesis to Revelation.
