OUR AIM
At Newland Church, we believe in the importance of a biblically informed Children's Ministry and the great responsibility to train up a child in the way of the Lord. As our Children's Ministry mission statement details, our goal is to help children navigate a life of faith through the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We hope to come alongside parents to help train up their children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.
This is accomplished with a team of dedicated volunteers and purposeful curriculum. All of our volunteers are members of Newland Church, background checked, agree to our statement of faith, and are trained annually on policies and procedures. You can rest assured that your kids are in a safe, loving, and Christ-centered environment.
OUR DIRECTOR
This ministry is overseen by Claudia Bucher - with 2 kids of her own and a former elementary teacher she is enthusiastic about seeing kids come to a knowledge of Christ that will lead to a life of faith.

FAQ
What Classes Are Offered?
We offer classes on both Sundays and Wednesday Nights:
Sunday 10:30 Service
- Nursery (0-3 years)
- Children's Church* (PreK-3rd Grade)
* Children's Church is dismissed after worship from the Sanctuary
Wednesday 6:30 Service
- Nursery to 6th Grade
At this time we are offering one class of mixed ages enjoying a time of worship, snack, lesson, games, and craft.
What Curriculum is Used?
We use Generations of Grace on Sundays to teach our kids the entirety of the Bible from Genesis to Revelation. On Wednesdays we use a variety of biblically based curriculum to do themed studies such as Fruits of the Spirit, Parables of Jesus, Bible Heroes, and more. It is also our goal to launch AWANA this Fall in September 2024 that will provide individualized instruction to our variety of ages.
